The stable originated in World Championship Wrestling with the gimmick of a group of unsanctioned wrestlers aiming to "take over" and control WCW in the manner of a street gang.

NWO To Be Inducted Into The 2020 WWE Hall Of Fame

A report from ESPN reveals WWE will induct the four members of the nWo in the 2020 Hall of Fame.

Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman will all be the recipients of a second WWE Hall of Fame induction, the time as a stable.

Hogan was the first of the group inducted in 2005, Scott Hall in 2014, Kevin Nash in 2015, and Sean Waltman as part of D-Generation X last year.

The 2020 WWE Hall of Fame is set to take place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL on 4/2/2020.
